So as many of you know, BJ and the kids have wanted a puppy for years now and I am always the voice of reason. But recently I turned a corner with it and got puppy fever. More than that however, I knew I wanted my kids to grow up with dogs like I did. Besides the lessons in responsibility and respect gained, there's just something about having a soft snout to nuzzle against you when the world goes topsy turvy. And with four girls, it will be that way often. So we found a couple of breeders to take a look at and feel out so we could move ahead with getting a puppy next year. That plan lasted until we walked in the door! Bailey found us and plopped down on BJ's lap to stay.

She is adorable! I bet she'll love the pool :)
OH We love Bailey! The girls can't wait to see her. She looks like she is very happy and content in your family...Congrats!!!
She is super cute!! Makes me want another puppy - until I remember all the work those cute little things are! They are definitely worth it, though. I think you got a keeper!
She is so cute! The story of getting Bailey makes me reminiscent of getting our dog as a kid. Dad was very against it but agreed to "just look". Sally walked right up to him, settled in, and you couldn't separate the two for the next 12 years. Men and their dogs! Love it.
sooooo is her name still Bailey??? Miss you!
A note to you all...Bailey had to undergo a name change. I kept mixing up Brynlee and Bailey. not so good for my sweet 2 year olds self confidence
(ie: "My mom always got me and the dog mixed up"). So to prevent permanent damage, we changed her name to Daisy, same ending, but different beginning...it has proven to be a good change! Thanks for all your comments! B
